Meet Dr. Robin Inwald

Dr. Robin Inwald is a psychologist, author, and business coach who works with entrepreneurs, executives, public safety professionals, and first responders. She guides different interest groups as clients reach career & legacy goals, build profitable businesses, and improve strategies for handling work and personal challenges.

Robin is best known for developing an award-winning series of validated personality tests, including the first published psychological test of emotional intelligence. She also founded and built the first female-owned test publishing company and years later, despite personal challenges, successfully sold its profitable assets to an overseas competitor. She worked for nine years as a behavioral therapist in a hospital-based clinic and has maintained a private coaching practice for over 25 years.

In 2020, Dr. Inwald was awarded both the NY State Psychological Association’s Lifetime Achievement Award and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) Leadership Award in Police & Public Safety Psychology. She earned a Ph.D. in psychology from Columbia University, masters and bachelors degrees from Cornell University in English, theatre, and education, along with other certifications, awards, and diplomates.

Outside of her passion for coaching people to become resilient and focused to achieve business, career, financial, and personal goals, Robin also enjoyed lifeguarding, teaching swimming & sailing for the Red Cross, ski racing in college, managing construction of three houses and raising three children, now married with families and careers. In her free time, Robin enjoys songwriting (https://pxl.to/RobinMusic), sunsets, and spending quality time with her family and nine grandchildren.
